Musim
The current-voltage characteristic of tandem or triple solar cells depends on the radiation spectrum. The measurement results form the basis for developing an optimal cell design, e.g. for current matching with regard to a specific radiation spectrum such as AM 0 for extra-terrestrial applications. Our measurements help to determine the optimisation potential which can be achieved by measurement series, simulations and the evaluation of individual parameters.
The system multi-source simulator (Musim) can simulate almost any radiation spectrum specified by international standards (IEC 60904-3) with the help of three light sources and the associated dichroic reflectors. This allows the precise measurement of efficiency values under Standard Test Conditions (STC).
